Hi
I recently was taken off strontium renelate by my consultant, as it causes blood clots.I felt pleased to be off all drugs but knew I really needed to do something to try to not lose bone. I looked at the Save our bones program, but found on a different forum that a book you can buy of Ebay for about £3 is the same thing. So I purchased Osteoporosis by Professor Jane Plant CBE and Gill Tidey. I have followed the diet in it and I really think it may well be working. I have noticed a difference in that I previously always had a lot of dead skin on my feet, now there is non. Also when I have a bath and exfoliate the skin there isn't any dead skin at all. So I really feel it is probably working on the bone as well. It is all about eating alkaline every time you eat acid. I thought I was doing this until I followed this book. I highly recommend it and bought second hand is so cheap, Save our bones program is too expensive.
