I've been re-reading Dr Kate Rhéaume-Bleue's book 'Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox'. She writes a lot about the synergistic importance of vitamins D, A and K2, and, so, I'm wondering what dose others take of vitamin A, that is the retinol form of vitamin A, the form found in fish, organ meats and eggs, not the beta-carotene form found in carrots and other veggies that we can't absorb very well. I currently take 5,000 IUs per day and am wondering if that is enough. I know that for a long time we have been warned about the perils of too much vitamin A, and Dr Kate writes extensively about how we have been misinformed about that, just like we were misinformed about vitamin D and toxicity. So, does anyone else take the retinol form of vitamin A and, if so, how mcuh ?
