Spammers still active on this site

Despite the reassurance a couple of weeks ago that the site was being made difficult for spammers and bots - there were two spam messages posted today - and more worrying loads of site users recieved PM's from a spammer.

I now have doubts about the safety of this site.

Is there any chance that this site can be closed down so all our private info will remain safe?

And a new secure site reopened?
